The Glass Encounter on the theme of "When glass and beer combine" is now behind us and brought an evening where two strong Czech traditions naturally came together: the craft of glassmaking and our national passion, BEER.

 
On April 23, 2026, another Glass Encounter took place, this time on the theme of Eliáška. Together we immersed ourselves in the story of the former chandelier factory of the company Elias Palme in Kamenický Šenov.

We are proud to introduce a new visual identity that brings together our diverse spaces and activities under one strong brand. The visual identity was created by Prague-based MiniMax Studio.

Museum Day

We warmly invite you to visit our museum, which has recently undergone an extensive renovation of its exhibition spaces and offers a unique insight into the world of contemporary glass. Throughout the day, a hands-on craft workshop will take place, where you can create your own drinking glass from a wine bottle. The event follows Museum Night, which will take place at the Glass Museum on the main square in Nový Bor.

Come reminisce about the legendary glassmaker Petr Novotný. We invite you to a talk about the unique collaboration between archaeologists and glassmakers, which began back in the 1970s and 1980s.
