Exhibition of artists from the Glass Jam 2026 Symposium

10. 7. - 31. 12. 2026

The opening of the GLASS JAM 2026 Symposium exhibition took place on 10 July 2026 at the Novotný Glass Museum in Nový Bor.

The exhibition presented the results of the inaugural GLASS JAM 2026 Symposium, focusing on contemporary studio glass, experimental approaches to the material, and the intersection of different creative disciplines. The symposium took place from 3 to 10 July 2026.

The project brought together contemporary art, authorial design and traditional glassmaking craftsmanship. During the week-long symposium, artists working across fine art, design, jewellery, photography and fashion used glass as the primary medium of their work.
GLASS JAM 2026 was created as an open platform for dialogue between different creative disciplines and the long-standing glassmaking tradition of the Nový Bor region, while also supporting contemporary Czech-Slovak artistic collaboration.
